Grandma Randie

I like to google people. I heard a hilarious line in a really cheesy family movie recently in which one character tells the other, "What's the matter with you? You can't Google another man's wife?"

For those unfamiliar with the act of "googling," it involves going to google.com and entering someone's name in the search box. Well, I do this for myself regularly (industry experts say all writers should engage in such a narcissistic practice), but I also occasionally check out people I know. Out of curiosity, I typed "randie adams." Lo and behold, I found the poor ole gray-haired Alaskan granny as the second in the list.

Congratulations, Granny Randie, on winning Anchor Point Employee of the Year!!!

How many of you knew about this and didn't tell us Oregonians? And for those of who didn't know, read the Homer News article by clicking here.

To those outside of Ak, we didn't know anything about it, I believe she was m.i.a for a while to certain relationship challenges. Thank you for the knowledge she will be receiving flowers and congrats shortly-dags
