Then we saw all the peace banners hanging on a chain-link fence alongside the railroad, in the Art district. The banners were the brain child of a woman who had a vision of dozens of banners for peace. They hung them in the middle of the night, and were out to announce them the next morning...on Mother's Day.
Of course, I have to start with the cliche, yet nonetheless beautiful, peace symbol made of flowers:
Then there's the somber and wise I Ching influenced peace banner, the banner with more bite than most:
Then there were the banners exclaiming humor as the panacea for the world's strife. Message wise, I appreciated these messages most:
