The watermelons were small and were sweet. When taking a bit, it was very easy.

Nothing stands more as a testimonial for how nutrient-poor our soil was as these speckled watermelons. Our biggest one could best be described as "personal sized." We saved the seeds, though, to start new ones next year when the soil will be rich.
